Our students come from all 50 states, Washington D.C., Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Student and faculty also come from over 110 countries around the world. A distinctive feature of Washington University is that nearly 60 percent of our undergraduate students come from more than 500 miles away, making this one of the most geographically diverse campuses in the country.

Do you have any admission quotas?
Absolutely not. There are no quotas at Washington University. The only limit we have is the total size of our freshman class. We also do not limit the number of students who are admitted from any city, state, or high school.

Washington University encourages and gives full consideration to all applicants for admissions, financial aid, and employment.
