Do you accept the Common Application? Does Washington University require a supplement?
Students may apply to Washington University using the Common Application and our short Pre-Application Data Sheet/Supplement. We encourage you to submit this Pre-Application Data Sheet/Supplement (which does not require a separate essay) as soon as possible, but you may wait and submit it with the Common Application. We do not require the Common Application Arts Supplement or the Common Application Athletic Supplement. For instructions, and to access the forms, please follow the appropriate link below:

Do you accept the Universal College Application?
If you prefer, you may apply to Washington University using the Universal College Application in place of the Common Application. We have no preference. In either case, we encourage you to submit the Pre-Application Data Sheet/Supplement (which does not require a separate essay) as soon as possible. You should submit either the Universal College Application or the Common Application, but not both.
