If you have already submitted your application for admission to the Class of 2014, you may submit the Application for Academic Scholarship & Fellowship Programs online via our Web site.

The scholarships and fellowships described here are based on academic achievement and promise and are awarded through special competitions. We also encourage you to apply for need-based financial assistance; for more information, click here.

To submit the application for our academic scholarships and fellowships online, please follow the instructions below and note the special requirements for the program or programs that interest you. For essay questions and additional requirements, please click here.

  • Application for Undergraduate Admission
    Complete an Application for Undergraduate Admission to the Class of 2014. The application for admission is required to be considered for any of our academic scholarship programs. Please click here for more information about the Application for Undergraduate Admission.

    A complete application consists of:
    • Common Application or Universal College Application with essay
    • Pre-Application Data Sheet
    • School Report
    • Teacher Evaluation
    • An official high school transcript, including SAT or ACT scores
    • $55 application fee or waiver request

  • Application for Academic Scholarships and Fellowships
    Please login to the WUSTL Pathway and follow the “Scholarships” link to submit one Application for Academic Scholarships and Fellowships for each scholarship for which you are applying.

  • Letters of recommendation
    Note the number of recommendations needed for each program to which you apply. Use the forms provided, and fill out the Applicant Information section before giving the form to the person providing your recommendation. Ask your recommenders to return the confidentially sealed recommendations to you so you can mail any additional application materials in one packet. Recommenders may also submit recommendation forms directly to the address below. It is not possible to submit letters of recommendation on-line. Deadline
Washington University must receive all of your application materials by January 15, 2010. (November 15, 2009 for Ervin Early Decision and Rodriguez Early Decision.)

Helpful Hints

  1. Read instructions carefully. Each program has specific requirements. For essay questions and additional requirements, please click here.
  2. You will be able to save your work and return to the online scholarship application at a later time in order to complete and submit your application(s).
  3. You may apply for more than one scholarship program. You will be able to return to the online scholarship application in order to apply for additional programs.
  4. Please login in to the WUSTL Pathway to check the materials we have on file for your scholarship application(s). Please allow 2-3 business days for your online application to be processed and up to 2 weeks if you submit application materials by mail. We expect applicants to check their status regularly.

  6. Applications must be received by January 15, 2010 (November 15, 2009 for Ervin Early Decision and Rodriguez Early Decision) to ensure thorough review.
