Incoming first-year undergraduate students seeking a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree may apply for the Dean’s Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded for four years of study as long as the student is making satisfactory progress toward the degree.
The Dean’s Scholarship in Business
The Dean’s Scholarship recognizes first-year applicants to the Olin Business School who demonstrate outstanding character, academic achievement, and promise for a career in business.
Eligibility
High school seniors who possess outstanding academic records, have pursued very challenging courses of study in high school, and score in the upper ranges on the SAT and/or ACT are encouraged to apply to the Dean’s Scholars Program. In addition, Olin looks for evidence of outstanding leadership and community service potential when selecting the recipient.
On-Campus Interviews for Finalists
Finalists, chosen by the Dean’s Scholarship Committee, will be invited to visit Washington University for the interview and related activities. To remain eligible, finalists will need to come to Washington University March 25-28, 2010, for the interview and related activities. Washington University will pay all expenses for this trip to St. Louis.
