“Everyone here is smart, but there is also something unique about each student that contributes to the Washington University community as a whole. The students are friendly, down-to-earth, and genuine.

“I majored in biochemistry through the chemistry department, so I had a lot of exposure to faculty in both biology and chemistry. I also came to form good relationships within the music department. I’ve been impressed with how much Arts & Sciences encourages students to take diverse classes.

“I became good friends with the guys on the basketball team. Varsity athletics was an extra facet of college I never expected.”
