“The university really encourages undergraduates to get involved with research. There’s a booklet in the psychology department about professors who need research assistants, so it’s very easy to get involved in any aspect of psychology you’re interested in.

“I did two semesters of research with a psychology professor. I helped run experiments, got them set up, and crunched the data. It was really cool to contribute to someone’s published research and have my name included in the credits.”
