Counselor Visit Program – Spring 2024

If you are flying to St. Louis, please call Bonnie Sacco-Meyer with TravelPlex travel agency at 314-991-5424 to make your travel arrangements. Please finalize your travel arrangements as soon as possible, but no later than January 19. Be sure to indicate that you are a counselor attending the Spring 2024 Counselor Visit Program at WashU. To ensure that all counselors are on the campus and able to participate in our full schedule of programming, we would like all flights to arrive in St. Louis by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25. During our closing breakfast we want to hear your thoughts about our time together, so we can continue to program valuable content and experiences for counselors. Our expectation is that departures will begin around 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, to make sure all can participate.

If you choose to travel by car to St. Louis, we will reimburse you for your mileage or up to the cost of roundtrip airfare to and from your home address. The IRS standard mileage rate is currently 65.5 cents/mile.

All Counselor Visit Program attendees will be staying at the Moonrise Hotel, on Delmar in The Loop a few blocks from WashU’s campus.

Tentative itinerary

Monday, March 25:

• Arrival to St. Louis
• Welcome dinner & St. Louis activity with the Admissions Team

Tuesday, March 26:

• Breakfast
• Sessions with WashU Faculty, Staff, and Students
• Campus tour
• Lunch on campus
• Dinner with WashU Admissions, Faculty and Staff

Wednesday, March 27:

• Closing breakfast and discussion with the Admissions Team
• Departure from St. Louis
