Dear Colleague –
As we reflect on another school year coming to a close, we are so thankful for the outstanding counselor community—all of you! Thank you for all that you do for your students and for us here at WashU.
We’re all looking forward to summer, and we wanted to take a few moments to share some resources and opportunities for you and your students.
For You
NWHE Counselor Information Sessions
Join WashU in partnership with University of Notre Dame, Johns Hopkins University, and Emory University for an online group presentation as we share updates about our schools and applicant pools, and answer some of the most frequently asked questions about our respective admissions cycles.
We will be offering two identical sessions on Wednesday, June 1, so please register for the time that works best for you.
Counselor Coffee Chats
We hope you had the chance to join one of our Counselor Coffee Chats last month. If you weren’t able to attend, or you’d like to watch the webinars again, please use the links below to access the recorded programs.
Why WashU? A Student Panel
A panel of current students discuss why they chose WashU and their experiences inside and outside the classroom.
Beyond the Classroom at WashU
Campus partners (including Student Transitions & Family Programs, Center for Diversity and Inclusion, The Learning Center, and Health & Wellness) will share how their offices support our students outside of the classroom.
For Your Rising Seniors
Optional Virtual Interviews
Interviews are for high school students who plan to apply as first-year students for the Fall of 2023. They are not required as part of the admission application process — click here to learn more about our interviews. Virtual interviews allow your students to spend 15-20 minutes chatting one-on-one with a current student. Share our calendar for your students to register.
WashU Preview
As long as the public health situation allows, we are planning for the Fall 2022 WashU Preview Program to return to an in-person program for the first time since 2019! WashU Preview is designed to connect diverse students (such as underrepresented students of color, first-generation to college students, and students from low-income backgrounds) with our collaborative, innovative, and passionate community. To be considered, students should fill out a Getting to Know You form by Thursday, September 1, 2022.
For All Students
Visit Experiences
Feel free to share this link with your students to see our full summer calendar! Our in-person campus visits offer an opportunity for prospective students to explore our beautiful campus and connect with our community. We also offer virtual opportunities for students to discover WashU — information sessions, guided virtual campus tours, academic sessions, etc.
