“I chose WashU because it seemed like the best place for me to get a fresh start. I was undecided in what I wanted to study, and I liked how WashU made it easy to explore different areas of study across the schools. For the last three semesters, I’ve had at least one class in arts sci, the B school, and in engineering each semester. The environment seemed welcoming and collaborative instead of overly competitive, but I knew I would still be challenged here academically. I also wanted to meet people from across the country and try new activities instead of continuing things like debate from high school, and WashU was a great place to do that.”

Favorite Place on Campus:

My favorite place on campus is definitely Law Cafe. It’s a beautiful spot and always feels very collaborative with students sitting around tables together. It’s also the home of Mac and Cheese Thursdays, which is my favorite meal of the week.

Activities:

Student Tour Leaders, club Frisbee, Fraternity, and Books and Basketball
