In choosing a college, there is no substitute for a campus visit. At Washington University, we take extraordinary measures to make your visit a standout by customizing your visit.
Let us know your personal interests and educational needs so we can customize your visit. In addition to scheduling your Group Information Session and a student-led Campus Tour, for example, we can arrange for you to speak with an engineering professor, an artist-in-residence in the Performing Arts Department, a dean in the business school, or the coach of a specific sport. You can also sit in on classes, have an interview, attend a student organization meeting, hear a concert by a student a cappella group, or work out in the Athletic Complex.
On-Campus Information Sessions
Group Information Sessions for prospective students are offered regularly. Please call for details or view the Campus Visit Schedule.
Campus Tours
Student-led tours are given regularly. Tours, which include the main campus and the residence houses, last up to 90 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes. Please call for details or view the Campus Visit Schedule.
Portfolio Review
Applicants to the College of Art and the College of Architecture may request an individual portfolio review during their campus visit, although a portfolio is not necessary for freshman admission.
Transfer Students
If you have questions regarding transfer to the University, you may schedule an appointment to meet with an admission officer or appropriate school representative by calling the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Please be sure to bring a copy of your college transcript.
Visitor Parking
If you are driving to campus or renting a vehicle during your visit, please request a complimentary Visitor Parking Pass when making your campus visit appointment. You do not need a pass for a weekend visit.
April Welcome
We offer an entire month of special activities for admitted students in April. Information about our April Welcome program is included with our offer of admission sent by April 1 of your senior year.
