Financial assistance application deadlines
For Early Decision applicants
Due to changes being implemented for the FAFSA Simplification Act, it is anticipated that the 2024-2025 FAFSA will not be available until December. EDI and EDII applicants must submit all financial assistance materials EXCEPT the FAFSA by Nov. 15 (for EDI) or Jan. 12 (for EDII). We will release your estimated financial assistance offer at the same time as your admission decision. However, the FAFSA is required to finalize your offer. We anticipate that there will not be any changes to your financial assistance offer, as long as the information provided in the FAFSA is consistent with the information you submitted with your CSS Profile.
For Regular Decision applicants
RD applicants must submit all financial assistance application materials, including the FAFSA, by the Feb. 1 deadline.
Transfer applicants
You should apply as a transfer student if you:
- have finished high school/secondary school and completed some college study
- would like to be considered for admission with advanced standing at Washington University
- are interested in enrolling full-time in an undergraduate degree program with a specific academic focus
- have never attended any of Washington University’s full-time, degree-granting schools
