Statement of Solidarity

United in our commitment

The ongoing racial violence that we are witnessing against people of color is nothing short of devastating.

Chancellor Andrew D. Martin

Admissions and Student Financial Services stand in solidarity with the victims of murder, marginalization, anti-Blackness, and oppression – and with those who seek justice through protests across our country.

With this statement, we are affirming our support for Black communities and our condemnation of the ongoing violence and systemic racism they face.

  • We believe that to remain silent is to be complicit.
  • We believe that it is our duty to confront injustice and that no one is free until we are all free.
  • We are focused on furthering diversity and inclusion to ensure that our admissions policies recognize and value all identities and experiences.
  • Our aim is to enroll and support a class of empowered students as future professionals, as global-citizens, and as leaders.
