WashU Preview

WashU Preview is a selective, invitation-based program for high school seniors historically underrepresented in higher education. Students will participate in a virtual experience designed to introduce them to WashU’s community, including academics, campus life, and special programs.

I really loved WashU Preview! The students were welcoming and the experiences they shared definitely helped with seeing myself as a WashU student.

WashU Preview will be a virtual program this year!

WashU Preview is designed to connect diverse students (such as underrepresented students of color, first-generation to college students, and students from low-income backgrounds) with our collaborative, innovative, and passionate community. Through events with current students, academic deans, support services and resources, attendees will learn what makes WashU one of the best college experiences in the U.S. and how to best tell their story in the application process.

WashU Preview is an invitation-based program. To be considered, students should fill out a Getting to Know You form by September 1. Students who are invited to WashU Preview will hear from us in mid-September.

I loved the energy and positive vibes throughout all of WashU Preview! It’s awesome that these vibes were coming on strong even through the virtual experience. I also LOVED the student diversity and representation in the panels!!

I filled out the Getting to Know You Form, but wasn’t invited to WashU Preview. Should I still apply to WashU?

Yes! Due to the size of the program, we aren’t able to invite all interested and competitive students to WashU Preview. We still encourage you to apply to WashU – and look forward to getting to know you better. You are also welcome to attend a virtual WashU visit any time!

I’m so glad that I attended this event as I felt it truly covered all areas of the school and gave me a much better understanding of the kind of environment that WashU has to offer and definitely made me want to apply even more. I felt that it actually got me excited to apply and get ready for college. It was a well-organized event and I appreciated the smoothness of the schedule.
