To me, genuine ramen represents the ultimate comfort food. I find myself going to Nudo House a lot during the winter months in St. Louis, especially when the weather is cold or cloudy. A warm bowl of ramen is the perfect meal for that kind of environment, feeling like it’s heating your soul as well as your stomach. The great thing about getting your ramen from Nudo is that you can’t really go wrong, no matter what you get. Of course I’ll often go for the Classic Nudo, but the braised chicken thigh in the Hebrew Hammer make it a worthy contender for my favorite ramen on the menu. If you want something a little more, my friends and I will often order a pork shoulder banh mi to split as well, an extra treat to round out the best meal we’ll eat all week.
